Ms. Giulia Dal Bello

Ms. Giulia Dal Bello is a doctoral student at the University of Haifa, Research Fellow of the IDIT PhD Fellowship, and member of the Political Psychology Lab headed by Prof. Daphna Canetti. Giulia specializes in public opinion in the context of terrorism and state surveillance using a multidisciplinary approach from Political Sciences and Neuroscience. She holds a BA in Culture and Languages of India and Mediterranean Africa from Cà Foscari University of Venice, and an MA in National Security from the University of Haifa. Giulia’s research explores new biometric technologies applied to state surveillance and citizens’ willingness to engage in collective action to uphold civil rights. Her research bridges different disciplines by employing advanced neuroscience data collection technologies and by conducting survey-experiments from different countries such as Italy and Israel.
