Incoming CCLP Director: Prof. Irit Hadar from the Information Systems Department.
Prof. Hadar just completed her tenure as Head of the Information Systems Department. She is also the Co-Founder & Head of the Design Thinking for Socio-Technical Innovation Research Hub.
Prof. Hadar’s research focuses on the cognitive aspects of software development, requirements engineering, software design & architecture, informational privacy & security, and responsible AI.
Incoming Head of Biometrics Sub-Center: Prof. Adi Akavia from the Computer Science Department.
Prof. Akavia is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Haifa. She founded and directed the Tel-Aviv Jaffa Cybersecurity Research Institute at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv Jaffa.
Prof. Akavia’s research focuses on theoretical & applied cryptology, complexity theory and algorithms.
Incoming CCLP Deputy Director CCLP in the field of law: Prof. Nizan Geslevich Packin from the Law Faculty.
Prof. Nizan Geslevich Packin hails from the Faculty of Law and is also a faculty member at the City University of New York.
Prof. Packin researches and teaches issues related to business law, financial regulation and technology.
Incoming CCLP Scientific Director: Dr. Dalit Ken-Dror Feldman from the Law Faculty.
Dr. Ken-Dror Feldman is also the Director of the Law Technology & Cyber Clinic in the Faculty of Law. Her research interests focus on law & technology: data & cyber security, software & information, AI and law. smart transportation, UAVs & DeepFake.
