Biannual Cyber Conference on Algorithmic Transparency and Responsible AI – 22.12.24

The CCLP held the Biannual Cyber Conference on Algorithmic Transparency and Responsible AI on 22.12.24 at the University of Haifa City Campus. The conference was held in collaboration with the Federmann Cyber ​​Center at the Hebrew University, the Clinic for Law, Technology and Cyber, the Israel National Cyber ​Directorate and the Movement for Freedom of Information.

After opening remarks by Prof. Oren Gazal-Ayal, Vice President and Dean of Research and Development, Prof. Irit Hadar, CCLP Director and Prof. Yuval Shany, Head of the Law Program and Federmann Center for Cyber ​​Research at the Hebrew University, there were sessions on biometrics and forgery, algorithmic transparency in the country, and how to bridge the gap between algorithmic and explanatory transparency and also a fascinating lecture on transparency Algorithmic in neural networks for face recognition.

During the conference, there was a display of posters in the field of artificial intelligence by university students and researchers. The participants of the conference came from a variety of academic institutions, government offices, regulatory agencies as well as industry and the event brought together experts and expertise from the fields of technology and regulation.
