Ms. Gal Landau-Yaari

Gal Landau-Yaari is a PhD in Law Candidate at the University of Haifa, conducting her research under the supervision of Prof. Niva Elkin-Koren. Her major research interests concern Blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies, governance of emerging technologies and financial stability.

Gal holds an LL.M. from the Tel Aviv University, an MBA (Specialization in Finance and Accounting) from the College of Management Academic and an LL.B. from the College of Management Academic. Gal is an attorney admitted to the Israel Bar.

Gal formerly served as the Acting CEO of the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange; Senior Vice President, and the Chief Risk Officer of the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange; Executive Head of the Global Economic Department of The First International Bank of Israel and as a Senior Economist at the Bank of Israel. She is an experienced executive in Finance, Capital Markets, Global risk management and Global financial regulation.
