On September 16, 2024, a closed round table was held on the topic of a national biometric database to identify victims in a multi-casualty event, in collaboration with the supervisor of the biometric applications. The roundtable was held against the background of the expected discussion of the extension of the “Iron Swords” temporary order stipulated in the law on the inclusion of biometric identification means and biometric identification data in identification documents and in the 2009 database.
