Prof. Nizan Geslevich Packin

Prof. Nizan Geslevich Packin joined the faculty after almost a decade as a faculty member at the City University of New York, and after teaching as an external lecturer at NYU. Prof. Packin researches and teaches issues related to business law, financial regulation and technology, in which she also dealt for years as a lawyer in New York at the Skadden Arps office in the banking and corporate recovery groups.

Prof. Packin clerked in the Supreme Court of Israel, in the office of Judge Salim Jubran. She worked as a student at the FTC – the Federal Antitrust Authority, and served as a student-intern with Judge Jack Weinstein at the Federal District Court in New York. She is an opinion columnist for Forbes, where she writes about issues related to financial regulation, and has published opinion columns in leading newspapers such as Calcalist, Globes, the Wall Street Journal, American Banker, Newsday and Bottom Line. She has been quoted in the digital press on sites such as COINDESK, BUSINESS INSIDER, YAHOO FINANCE and more.
