Mr. Gilad Yadin

Gilad yadinGilad Yadin is completing his PhD at the Haifa University Faculty of Law. He holds an LLB and LLM (with honors) from Tel Aviv University. Gilad taught technology law at Tel Aviv University and at several colleges, drafted cybercrime legislation for the Israel Ministry of Justice and represented the government in the Knesset. He consulted for the Israel Privacy Protection Authority on privacy policy, sat on the boards of a venture capital fund and a large government company and clerked for a criminal court judge. Before that, during the turbulent dot-com bubble years, Gilad managed a cybersecurity R&D group at CheckPoint and a DevOps team at BMC Software. His recent research into legal implications of virtual reality is published in leading law and technology journals and books, cited by some of the world’s foremost legal scholars and taught in top law schools.
