Maria Lillà Montagnani

Maria Lillà Montagnani is Associate Professor of commercial law at Bocconi University where she teaches and researches in the field of Intellectual Property Law. She has an LL.M in Intellectual Property (Queen Mary University of London) and a Ph.D in Competition Law.

She is the Director of ASK, a Bocconi research center devoted to the promotion of cultural planning and cultural institutions management. She has been Faculty Affiliate at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society of Harvard University, Scholarship holder at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law of Munich, and Visiting Scholar at the CCLS (Centre for Commercial Law Studies) at Queen Mary University of London.

Her research activity has mostly concerned the interplay between IP law and technology, on which topics she has published on major international journals.
