Ilan Talmud is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Haifa who studies online social networks, economic sociology, international relations, adolescents’ online social networks, the relations between civic engagement and online social capital, and facets of organizational knowledge management and transfer via social ties.
His main studies use network analytic models to examine inter-organizational, inter-industrial, and international relations. He has been involved in Internet Studies since 2001, and is currently engaged in the study of the social; structure that facilitates cryptocurrency economy and community as well as the technological applications’ eco-system.
