Hagit Zabrodsky Hel-Or received her PhD degree in Computer Science in 1994, from the Hebrew University, Jeruslaem, Israel. She was with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, for two years.Currently Prof. Hel-Or is appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Haifa, Israel.
She has held visiting scholar positions in the Vision Group in the Dept. of Psychology and in the Dept of Statistics both at Stanford University. Her research interests in the area of Image Processing and Computer Vision include Image Enhancement, Pattern Recognition, Color Vision, Imaging Technologies, and Computational and Human Vision. She is a member of the IEEE
